Representive Cases

Below is a brief description of representative cases by category:

A.   Management audits and surveys to determine compliance with various federal, state and local codes, laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.

B.   Drafting and review of employee handbooks and personnel policies for businesses with five or more employees.

C.   Representation of clients with civil rights claims of discrimination based upon gender, age, race, color, national origin, disability, religion or marital status.

D.   Representation of workers covered by the Family Medical Leave Act who have been disciplined or subject to retaliation for taking permissible, qualifying FMLA leave.

E.   Wage and Hour issues, claims and lawsuits involving management or labor with regard to minimum wage, overtime, classification of employees, exemptions, required record keeping, and such other matters as are within the purview of the Department of Labor.
